Type Vintage lever filling fountain pen and mechanical pencil.
Product Name Skywriter (it's marked on the fountain pen barrel). Waterman made this for the Aiken-Lambert pen company, and it is the final pen made under the Aiken-Lambert name. (Waterman bought Aiken-Lambert in the late 1930s.) This pen is circa 1937.

Filling System Lever filler. We've restored it with a new sac and it's working very well. It is guaranteed for one year from the date of purchase. The mechanical pencil takes 1.1mm leads. The leads are extended by twisting the cone. We will include a small container of leads.
Color Burnt orange and tortoise striated with gold plated trim. Truly gorgeous material. There is some pearlescence.
Nib MEDIUM FLEXIBLE nib marked 14K A.L.CO. Line variation from medium to broad. Please see writing sample.
Condition Excellent condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is an attractive pen and pencil set in a unique color pattern that is shiny and that glows and shimmers and that has pearlescence. The fountain pen has light to moderate scratching with some long thin scratches on both the cap and barrel. The lever has brassing and light plating wear along the edges. The cap band has brassing and plating wear. The clip has heavy plating wear and some pitting along edges especially at the top edges. The mechanical pencil has light to moderate scratching with a few long thin scratches. The cone has brassing and plating wear. The thin cap band has plating wear and some tiny dots of pitting. The clip has heavy plating wear and pitting along the edge of the end and along side and top edges. The imprints are clear.
