Product Description
Type Vintage pen
Product Name W2
Manufacturer and Year Waterman, England (1930s-early 1950s)
Length 5-1/16"
Filling System Lever filler (We have replaced the bladder and it works very well.)
Color Burgundy. The trim is gold plated or filled.
Nib The 14k nib is marked Waterman's 14CT W-2B. It is very flexible with a lot of tipping material, just short of full flex by our estimation. Fine point. See writing sample below.
Condition Excellent Condition. There is a small cluster of scratches between the section and the imprint on the barrel and the imprint on the nib is semi-worn. The imprint on the barrel is crisp. The cap bands look great. There is some brassing at the top of the clip and on the edges of the gold circle at the end of the cap. The gold trim is in excellent condition though. This pen writes very smoothly. The filling system is working well, and we'll guarantee it for a year.
